Bark Construction
Bark Construction is an Australian construction company built on quality workmanship, strong relationships and a down-to-earth approach to business.
I developed a complete visual identity for the business, including the logo, typography, colour palette, brand guidelines and a flexible design system inspired by the founder's nickname "Big Dog", Australian surf culture and traditional workwear brands.
The resulting identity balances professionalism with personality, creating a distinctive brand that performs consistently across signage, apparel, vehicle graphics and digital applications.

Bark Construction is an Australian construction company built on quality workmanship, strong relationships and a down-to-earth approach to business.
-
I developed a complete visual identity for the business, including the logo, typography, colour palette, brand guidelines and a flexible design system inspired by the founder's nickname "Big Dog", Australian surf culture and traditional workwear brands.
The resulting identity balances professionalism with personality, creating a distinctive brand that performs consistently across signage, apparel, vehicle graphics and digital applications.
Brand Guidelines
A comprehensive brand guideline established the foundation for the Bark identity, creating a flexible visual system that could grow alongside the business while maintaining consistency across every touchpoint.
-
I developed the complete guideline, documenting the logo system, typography, colour palette, brand hierarchy and application principles to ensure the identity could be applied confidently across print, digital and environmental design.
The finished guideline became the blueprint for the Bark brand, enabling everything from signage and apparel to vehicle graphics and future marketing materials to maintain a consistent, professional and recognisable identity.
Apparel Design
Custom apparel extended the Bark identity beyond traditional branding, creating workwear that employees could wear with pride while reinforcing a strong and recognisable presence on-site.
-
I designed a range of branded clothing including hoodies and work shirts, applying the identity system across garments while balancing durability, visibility and everyday practicality.
The finished apparel became an extension of the Bark brand, helping create a consistent and professional appearance that strengthened both team identity and brand recognition.
SIGNAGE & STATIONERY
A suite of branded signage and stationery extended the Bark identity into everyday business touchpoints, creating a professional and consistent experience across both client-facing and internal materials.
-
I designed a range of applications including business cards, site signage and supporting branded collateral, adapting the identity system to real-world formats while maintaining clarity, hierarchy and visual consistency.
Together, these applications reinforced the Bark brand across every stage of the customer journey, demonstrating how a cohesive identity could perform confidently in both print and environmental settings.
