GHOST IN THE SHELL 攻殻機動隊

Inspired by the recent Ghost in the Shell poster created for Science SARU and my long-standing love of the 1995 film. While heavily influenced by the composition and visual language of the poster, this piece was redrawn from scratch and reimagined through my own interpretation of Major Motoko Kusanagi and the cyberpunk world she inhabits.

Created as both a tribute and a study of composition, lighting and environment design, the project explores the neon-lit atmosphere, layered cityscapes and quiet sense of melancholy that continue to make Ghost in the Shell one of my favourite works of animation.
